Ordering & MOQ
- What is the minimum order (MOQ) at JMP?
- It depends on the product, and the unit differs. Custom carton boxes start at 500 pcs. Polybag is measured by weight, not by piece: unprinted is typically 300 kg — down to 100 kg when the spec is one we run commonly; printed is around 200 kg for a regular design, with the cylinder cost quoted separately. New parts or small volumes are still workable — contact us to confirm per product. Carton box MOQ & specs →Polybag MOQ & specs →
- Is all packaging made to order?
- Yes. Size, flute, thickness, and print follow your part spec, not an off-the-shelf catalog. We start from zero based on your details or a sample part. Low-MOQ custom carton box →Custom polybag supplier →
- Can one vendor supply both carton boxes and polybags?
- Yes. Both lines run under one roof and one QC standard, on a single delivery schedule — no juggling two suppliers who blame each other when something goes wrong. See both product lines →
- How do I request a quote?
- Send a photo or drawing of the part and your rough monthly volume via WhatsApp. No technical drawing yet? No problem — we help define the right spec and then price it. Request a quote →
Product specification
- What polybag sizes and thicknesses can you make?
- Width 5–100 cm, cut or roll length 5–70 cm, at 30–120 micron. PE or PP, plain or printed. The right thickness follows the weight and shape of the part — not the top of the range, because excess micron is resin wasted on every single bag. Polybag guide →
- Which flute should I use for my part?
- It depends on stacking load, protection needed, and how fine the print surface has to be. Broadly: B for general boxes needing a clean print face, C for higher stacking strength, E for thin boxes and fine print, BC (double wall) for heavy parts. Send the part spec and we will help choose — over-specification is the cost most often removable without giving up protection. Flute selection guide →
Production, samples & printing
- How long does production take?
- Repeat orders typically run 10–14 working days, depending on material stock. New items take around 18–24 working days, because of the extra steps before the machine can run: artwork/master sheet approval, then the rubber or print cylinder, which is made at a vendor — so that part is not fully in our hands. Unprinted items are clearly faster, since that stage does not exist. Carton box production steps →
- Can I get a sample before ordering?
- Yes, and the sample itself is free. What drives the timing is the material: if a suitable material is already in our stock, it is quick. If the specification needs something we are not currently holding, we have to wait for the supplier to deliver it first — and that is usually where the time goes. Tell us the specification up front so we can check stock immediately.
- How many print colours can you run on carton boxes?
- Our carton flexo press runs up to 4 colours, with a ceramic anilox and doctor blade. That combination meters ink more precisely, so fine detail holds — small text, part codes and barcodes stay legible instead of spreading or filling in. That is usually what goes wrong when carton printing is not precise enough. For short runs with high design variation we also have digital printing on corrugated. Polybag is a different machine with a different limit: polybag flexo runs up to 3 colours, front and back. Carton box print technology →
- We do not have an artwork file — can you help?
- Yes. We have our own product design team, so you do not need to arrive with a print-ready file. A physical sample of the product is enough — we will turn it into the master artwork. This is usually what keeps a new item moving when there is no technical drawing on the customer side at all. Send us your sample part →
Pricing & commitment
- How long is a JMP quotation valid?
- Fourteen days. It used to be 30, but with paper moving almost monthly a 30-day quote means guessing the material price three to four weeks out — and a wrong guess ends up being a problem for both sides. A shorter validity makes the number more accurate, not more one-sidedly safe. The background is in our 2026 paper market report. Read the 2026 paper market report →
- How long can a price commitment be locked in for?
- For 2026 we offer 2–3 month blocks. Through 2024 a six-month commitment still made sense; in current market conditions it does not. We would rather quote a price we can genuinely hold for two or three months than sign a six-month number we have to reopen halfway through.
- Why have carton box prices kept rising since late 2025?
- Because paper has. Paper is 70–80% of the production cost of a carton box, and over the last nine months two national paper producers raised prices ten times with not a single decrease — driven by China's pulp policy, Strait of Hormuz disruption, global pulp prices and a weakening rupiah. Delivery & payment
- Where does JMP deliver?
- Jabodetabek, Cikarang, Karawang, out to Subang, and Makassar. For other routes we work with several freight partners. On cost: franco (delivery included) applies within Jabodetabek, for orders above Rp 3 million or for regular customers. Outside that, freight is quoted separately and stated in the quotation rather than added afterwards. Carton box manufacturer, Jabodetabek →
- What are the payment terms?
- New customers: 50% down payment against the PO value, the balance after delivery. Regular customers: our default is 30-day terms. If you need something different, talk it through with our sales team.
Services & certification
- What is the Flex-Stock (VMI) program?
- Flex-Stock is a vendor-managed inventory service: we produce your packaging up front, hold buffer stock in our warehouse, and ship per call-off against your production schedule — so your warehouse stays clear and your line never waits. Flex-Stock (VMI) program →
- Is JMP certified?
- Yes, JMP is ISO 9001:2015 certified (quality management) — documentation you can use for supply-chain audits. ISO 14001 (environmental management) certification is currently in progress. Track record & certification →
